One of the many ways that the Southern California Hospice Foundation reaches out to the community is through our events, including seminars, cultural programs and our Annual Golf Tournament. These events are designed to educate and occasionally raise funds through the generous donations of those who share our belief that life is worth enjoying for as long as each of us are living.
Phil Braybrooks spent the last few months of his life under the care of hospice, and his family wishes to support those who otherwise cannot afford the resources necessary for end-of-life care. Every year since Mr. Braybrooks was buried- in a bright red coffin, flames included- J&M Speed Center has held a Memorial Car Show to raise money for the Southern California Hospice Foundation. The event was held on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
